Alfombra is Spanish for carpet. That said, these “carpets” are made on select streets for Easter. While there are pictures of some others in the free book, here they are under construction.
This was taken yesterday on “La Sexta” in Guatemala City. This one clearly is sponsored by Panaduria San Martín — both because it has their logo on it and it is in front of their store.
