Lula (our dog) and I headed to the fair this morning. This is an annual event in Guatemala City. It is very close to where I live in Zona 2 making it seem “local” to me but it is quite a big event with government offices and schools being closed for at least part of it.
It is primarily along Avenida Simeon Cañas with parting starting at Calle Martí and booths starting about three blocks North. There are also more stalls just north of Calle Martí on 7th Avenue.
There are also stalls around Jocotenango Park, just South of Calle Marti. This is a one-week event.
